Details of Michael Jangala Smith

About

Michael was born in Perth in 1964.
He attended Greenmont Primary School and later Foothills Private School. The latter had an alternate educational
philosophy and Michael's experiences there were very positive.
After this schooling he did a Hospitality apprenticeship.
In about 1987, Michael went to Broome and worked as a health worker and health promoter with communities
across the Kimberleys.
He later moved from Broome to Kununurra and worked there until late 1998. During the late 1990's he became
involved in singing and acting with 'Corrugation Road', touring capital cities within Australia. He also worked as the
Darwin Council.
During 2004 Michael has been living in Warmun with Granny Gowdie and Granny Lena's mob.
