Details of Colin Wasi

About

Colin worked on Nookanbah Station in the days when they had sheep. After they shifted the sheep from the station he stopped working. He has always stopped at Nookanbah with his wife Japulija. More recently he has lived at Yakanarrra community as well.

Colin started painting in the early 1990's when TAFE ran an annexe in the community. He has worked with Mangkaja Arts Centre during workshops at Nookanbah and Yakanarra as well as in the studio in town.
