About
Evelyn grew up in Gorabuna in the Sahuote clan. Both her mother, Gwedalyn Boriveho, and her grandmother, Georgina Birego, were barkcloth artists. From them she learnt traditional designs including Mahudano'e (pigs tusks), butotude'e (spiderweb) and obohutague (Sahuote clan tattoo design of the tree-bark).
