About
Phyliss grew up at Turner River and worked at Bow River, Springvale and Mabel Downs cattle stations. She now lives at the Warmun Community. Phyliss' work reflects a strong sense of design and harmony. She is a wealth of information. Many of her paintings reflect a broad knowledge of traditional dreaming stories as well as life and lore during the times prior to European settlement.
Phyliss is a strong law and culture woman and has worked as a language and cultural teacher at the community school.
