About Pidgeon/Small Bush Dove Dreaming
Berrbee says of his painting: "Small birds planted the water in the Ngarankarni (Dreamtime). There is a big bank around the waterhole which stops cattle from getting into it and destroying it. The waterhole is on the black-soil plain. The water comes down from the limestone hills in the raintime and the water stays all year round." Berrbee used to muster there along the flat country on the way to near what is now the Argyle Dam.
