This is Joannes father's country. Her father is renowned Warmun artist Beerbee Mungnari. The painting shows the country near Rosewood station - between lake argyle and the NT border. The black shape is a flat rock and the grey is a rock hole where the birds, like bush pigeons drink all year round.
