SoldAbout Purnululu
Patrick describes this painting, "Nowgarlwin is the name of this place.Nowgarlwin means frog. This place is known for the place where the brown frogs bury themselves in the sand. The Gija people who used to live and work on Texas Downs Station and go to Purnululu (the Bungle Bungles), used to dig for these frogs and cook 'em up on the coals. It has white meat like the goondarrning (fish) it tastes good."
