About Keep River National Park
Peter has painted an area of the Keep River National Park on the Western Australia/Northern Territory border. The brown colours represent the Jarnam hill and the nearby billabong Nyawa Nyawam, while the large brown area is a large mountain called Garwarreng. This area is located close to Peter's home at the Police Hole Community. The long yellow line is the main river called Keep River. This river is a popular place for hunting but one must be aware that there are a lot of fresh- and saltwater crocodiles that live along the river.
Painted in 2003.
