About Moisture 10 - Moisture Series
I loosely based these paintings on the lifeblood of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Rivers. That necessary element of life, water. We are mostly made of water. We need it, we are it. Simply put - if it flows enough so do we. Moisture was in the humid air, moisture was the wet season rain, moisture was a sundowner drink as I looked across Sisowath Quay to where the Tonle Sap, Bassac and Mekong rivers meet. Finally the moisture of paint was added to the mix to create these works.
