This work shows Winpa, an important rainmaking place for the Yulparija people. Winpa is the name of the waterhole and of the ancestral being which makes up part this country in the Great Sandy Desert near the Percival Lakes in W.A. This painting depicts the country after big rains abundant in mayi (bushfoods).
