Margaret has painted her ancestors collecting ochres. The circle on the top with red lines represents a fire.
This fire is used for collecting bush foods and to help change the colour of the red ochres to lighter colours. The oval
on the left depicts a claypan where the women also collected ochres and was used as a sheltered area from the fire. The women
used this ochre for healing the sick.
