About Nguraku
Bill was born near Miramiratjara, a sacred place where there are huge red sandhills which hide permanent underground water. In recalling the many rockholes in Bill's area he specifically mentions Ngurlpil, Kamina, Yalana, Anmangu, Paltjimarda, Wikaru, Tjulu and a number of others. He is passionate about his country and can sometimes become emotional when recalling areas.
