About Kungarrangkalpa (Seven Sisters)
Kungarrangkalpa is the story of the Seven Sister Creation Beings who are pursued by the man Yurla over a hige area of the Western and Central Deserts. They create landforms as they travel. Patricia has painted a part of the story situated near Wanarn she has also included part of the Wati Kutjarra (two men) story at the top of the painting. Part of teh wati Kutjarra Tjukurrpa runs through Wanarn. Tjukurrpa physical feature or part of the countryside associated with dreamtime story: Character from a dreamtime story.
