About Kalayaku Munu Kiparaku Tjukurpa
Kalayaku munu Kiparaku Tjukurpa (This is a story about the emu and the bush turkey.) The Kalaya (Emu Man) was sitting with his children and he told all his chicks to hide in the bush. When the Kipara (Turkey Man) came along with his son he noticed the Kalaya sitting by himself. The Kalaya told the Kipara that he had hit all his sons and killed them. He talked the Kipara into doing the same to his only son. The next day the Kipara saw the Kayala with all his chicks and became very angry. He used the side of his spear thrower an hit the Kalaya in the neck.
