This is Irrunytju, Minyma Kutjara Tjukurpa (creation story of the Two Women). The two sisters travelled through the desert starting their journey south of Wingellina (Irrunytju) and over many days north to Docker River.
Many years ago the sisters were seperated when a big wind blew the younger sister towards Eucula near the ocean. She was brought up in family which was not her own. The elder sister found her younger sister and began the long journey home to be with her true family. The younger sister was frightened and unhappy to be leaving and cried, while her big sister reassured her that it would be ok. As the travelled across the country the big sister taught the younger sister the Tjukurpa. They made many of the rock holes in the desert along the track they took north.
