I think of the many lands that I have strolled through over the past three decades. Many peculiar places that are vivid in my mind and many I cannot recal much about at all. Only snippets of thoughts are to be retrieved from the mind's library so some thoughts are secret even to me. Some locations have been misplaced, and some topography on some bodies of land I have totally forgotten. My brain has fried, fondled too much, mis-remembered or banished copious amounts of memories. Lots of geography is at my fingertips but some geography is just imagined, some is in no-person's land, some is burnt-in and some floats on clouds high above. Jogged senses, snapshots, chats, letters or maps can recall places I have been to but there are always a few secret locations that are out of bounds, taboo or that have simply vanished. I present here 13 somewheres.
