About Thimberi
Thimberi is a bullock watching camp on top of Ban.gurr range.Thimberi is the name of a bullock watching camp in Mick Jawalji's country. It is on top of Ban.gurr, Baulk Face Range. Jawalji used to watch plenty of bollocks at Thimberi. He used to bring the cattle down from Ban.gurr through Idle Hole Gap and come out at Idle Hole Yard. These are all the places in Mick Jawaljis part of Gija country. On the painting the oblong shape in the middle is the little creek that goes south to the watching camp, Thimberi.
