About Papaku Tjukurpa
This is Papa Tjukurpa (wild dog creation story) from Wingellina. the dogs were camped at Anmangu and travelled north to Wingellina. Close to Irrunytju rockhole you can see the papa, puli (the rock forms, which are the dogs) in the bush. They are smooth and ochre coloured, the dingoes sitting down. Only the father ended up at Irrunytju as the children got homesick and said 'we're staying, we cant go."
Tjukurpa mulapa (this is a true story). It has been given to me by my family.
