About Yurna
Miriam has painted some of her Uncle Wimmitji Tjapangarti's country called Yurna located near Jupiter Well. All the sites shown in the painting are linked with events surrounding the Tingarri beings who helped form the country during the Tjukurrpa (dreaming). Depicted in this painting are several water holes and various bushfoods.
