About Jiliyardi Billabong 2005
This is jilji (sandhill) country near Go Go Station. I was born at Go Go. In the Ngarrangkarni (Dreamtime), a large goanna came through here. It came from a long way and stopped here at Jiliyardi. It is still living in the water there now.
