Short St Gallery in association with Tjungu Palya Artists presents this extraordinary and exciting body of work. Some of the most interesting art in the country is coming out of the APY lands at the moment and the Tjungu Palya artists are leading the way with their challenging new interpretations of traditional stories. Short St Gallery in association with Mangkaja Arts presents a solo exhibition by Sonia Kurrara, the winner of the West Australian component of the WA Indigenous Art Award. Short St is excited to showcase Sonia's strong contemporary work in 2011. The exhibition opens Thursday 19th May at Short St Gallery in Broome, WA. Everyone is welcome to attend. Short St Gallery in association with Warmun Art Centre are proud to present exciting new works by Mick Jawalji, featuring paintings by senior Law Men Patrick Mung Mung, Rusty Peters and Churchill Cann from the Gija community.
