Serena Ken Pitjantjatjara, b. 1985

Serena is the daughter of Sylvia Ken, also a painter at Tjala Arts. Her grandmother is Iluwanti Ken, senior painter, weaver and punu maker at Tjala. Serena has been painting at Tjala Arts since 2002. Serena has worked on family collaboratives with her mother, grandmother and sisters and has helped with her grandmother's weaving for her solo show ' We are like the swallows and eagles' at APY Gallery.

Serena is also a keen photographer and and is a key member of the Tjala Arts Young Women's Photography Crew.
