Cynthia's paintings depict topographical maps of the country surrounding and of Warakurna Community. Her works often explore
the changes this landscape undergoes with changing seasons. She maps out the numerous waterholes and sandhills with
consideration, to show the subtle contours of this country. While Cynthia’s paintings do not speak specifically to Tjukurrpa
(dreaming), her work is always heavily influenced by culture, country, and her family.
Cynthia learnt about painting through numerous significant artists within her family, but has since developed a disnctive personal
practice. She states,: I have worked really hard at taking what I learnt and developing my own style.”
