Charlene is painting the country that her relatives and family come from - Texas Downs Station. Texas Downs Station is a place full of caves, waterholes, and redhills. Charlene thinks this country is beautiful, there is plenty of water and many rockpools, creeks and rockholes. This is the land as she remembers it, Charlene often goes out bush with her children and her grandmother Betty Carrington and Betty's husband , Patrick Mung Mung.
