Earthy, vibrant colours reflect the contours of the desert country around Fregon on the APY Lands. The red of the earth is distinctive where the ridges of the sandhills and winding dry creeks cut across the flat plains. Small hills and rockholes in the sandhills are all typical of the area. Spring showers create a perfect environment for the yellow and purple wildflowers. The spiky spinifex grass is tough and thrives in the harsh desert extremes. Fregon is her father's country.
