Winter- me in Arwrek, north of Conniston. Sacred site, small sand hill here (right hand side). Three old women sitting down in humpies again and boys play football - two teams. Water hanging from buckets in trees ready for billy tea. Girls play so ball, they go a green shirt (Ntaria) and Anmatyerre mob got purple (Laramba), mm mm. It’s olden day station that one. All the people, adults and kids, track marks everywhere. This mountain here comes all the way from Hermannsburg. Men saw him, oh a lot of kangaroo here been drinking water. Two men shoot this kangaroo, 2 shots (bullets) one kangaroo! Cook ‘em up and eat ‘em, take ‘em back. All the kids get ‘em wood and digging the sand, firewood and light ‘em and cook ‘em and eat ‘em!
