The artist represents an area of traditional Country Bubble Community –Thamberalm located east of Newry Station in the Kimberley region of northern Australia. "This is part of my country. I got my name from this place. There is a fresh water spring with water bubbling up- 'Lumai, Lumai' which is in the bottom right and top right is a spring called Wumi, this is the place where my big sister got her name from."
Bubble Spring starts in the upper right and flows out through the bottom left towards the Keep River . The water in the middle is a good fishing spot called the Catfish Dreaming. The two trees are white gum trees. The black hill on the left is called Yup-Yup Hill and the hill above is the main hill called Bubble Hill.
