Pauline has painted the a story from her brother's (Sam Tjampitjin) country. This country is called Lanta-Lanta, and is near Lappi Lappi. The features of this country were formed by Tingarri beings in the Dreamtime. The area is basically a large salt-lake with a number of smaller waterholes within its boundaries. Water dreaming is associated with this place and the Pauline's brother once told of the many ceremonies that were held there when his family camped nearby.
