The background here is brown - the season is turning and becoming dry. The Kira Kiro dancers are here and they are ready to celebrate. They have made new weapons, spear, womera; for fighting and hunting, made from the Marn tree and objects for hairbelt string making and playing music. The Kira Kiro dance every evening, sharing food with everyone and scaring bad spirits away. Their hair is long and decorated with paperbark, and Walgardi, a yellow wattle flower. Everything is decoratedwith patterns to make them come alive.
