I paint Wantjapilla, a special place not far from Indulkana where there is a very big soakage. I used to swim at Wantjapilla when I was a teenager, and I would take my two daughters, Judith and Julie to swim there when they were younger too. It’s a good place for swimming and camping out. The Country there is full of good memories. We often go fishing there, and we like to find duck eggs to cook too! In my paintings, I like to paint the rockholes of Wantjapilla, and the long narrow cracks in the ground that come up after the heavy rain
