Maryanne is an artist following in her grandfathers footsteps Ray Ken - celebrating Tali Tjukurpa (Sand dune country). Mary Anne is very much like her Tjamu (grandfather), Ray a quite thoughul and powerful presence in the Tjala Arts studio. Maryanne's paintings reflect her grandfrather's inmate knowledge of the landscape and reminisce about long journeys traversing the 1sand hills of his country as a stockman.
