This painting depicts designs associated wih the rockhole site of Ngaminya, just to the south-west of the Kiwirrkura Community. A group of women made camp at this site before travelling to the rockhole site of Wirrulnga, east of the Kiwirrkura Community, where hey made hair-string skirts for use in ceremonies. Wirrulnga is a site associated with birth. They also gathered the edible berries known as kampurarrpa or desert raisins, from the small shrub Solanum centrale, which they ground into a paste and formed into a type of damper.
