Maryanne Ken is telling the story of the sandhill country.
Maryanne is an artist following in her grandfathers footsteps Ray Ken - celebrating Tali Tjukurpa (Sand dune country). Maryanne is very much like her Tjamu (grandfather), Ray a quite thoughtful and powerful presence in the Tjala Arts studio.
Maryanne's paintings reflect her grandfrather's inmate knowledge of the landscape and reminisce about long journeys traversing the sand hills of his country as a stockman.
