This painting shows some fish that I caught at Munja when I was 17 or 18 years old. I was a big girl then. I caught three barras and one blowfish. I was fishing at the Walcott Inlet near the Munja homestead. There is just an old stove left there now. These Wandjinas are Ungud Wandjinas. They keep fish healthy and fresh and they keep the water fresh by making the tides strong. I love fishing.
