After school we went to swim - come on let go home now - my friend Maureen said. This site is the 'other side of Titjikala’, meaning it is south of Titjikala. Sally Mulda depicts a group of children deciding that it is time to return home after swimming after school. The children have been swimming together at a waterhole just out of Titjikala Community in the Northern Territory.
Sally Mulda was born in Titjikala and has many memories of picnics, collecting bush tucker, and swimming after school such as the one she has depicted, a feature of Aboriginal Community life to this day.
