Pauline has painted her mother's Country, esteemed artist Bai Bai Napangarti (dec), a site close to Tjawa Tjawa (Pt Moody) called Wiwi. The main feature of this country is a large swamp shown in the centre of the painting. The swamp is surrounded by tali (sandhills) and is an important site for women's ceremonial dancing.
