Pauline has painted some of her mother's traditional country, which is located in the Great Sandy Desert, south of Balgo. This country is known as Mukuri. The central red band depicts the travelling path that people used through this Country. Above the path are shown the nearby hills and caves, in which some of Pauline's grandfather's family lived. The lower portion of the painting depicts the tali (sandhills) which dominate the landscape of the area. The small dot work here represents two types of seeds that are found here, and used for flour to make damper, lukarrar and idakatji.
