Helicopter has painted some of his country south of Balgo, in the Great Sandy Desert. It is called Wangkartu after the Tjurrnu (soakwater) there. The parallel lines in the painting represent the Tali (sandhills) that dominate the country. This is the country where Helicopter was born. It is his country, it was his father's and grandfather's. The dots are Mangarri (food, bush tucker) like fruit trees.
