This painting depicts Pitu, an area east of Parnngurr in the Western Desert. Pitu is the artist's ngurra (home). There is a warla (lake) there and a big jurnu (rockhole). Around the outside of the painting is two big tuwa (sandhills). The artist lived and travelled in this country when she was younger during the pujiman (bush) days.
