This painting depicts the minyma mamu, a tjukurpa story from Antara, west of Mimili. The minyma mamu is a spooky spirit that is represented as a large Apu (rock). The minyma mamu tried to trick the children to bring her the firestick so she could eat them., the children yelled to her, "yes, we will bring you the firestick". The minyma mamu waited and watched as the children walked towards her. Just before they reached her they put the firestick out in the rockhole and ran far away. This made the minyma very cross.
